Gerald BoudreauxAugust 3, 1936 ~ July 24, 2017 (age 80)
Gerald Boudreaux, 80, passed away on July 24, 2017. He was born August 3, 1936 in Akron to Fritz and Catherine (nee Richard) Boudreaux. He served in the U.S. Air Force at Westover Air Force Base, MA and retired from Parker Hannifin. Gerald was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church where he belonged to a Scripture Study Group and participated with the funeral choir. He was enthusiastic about everything, including his love for B52’s, the military, trains and antique cars.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents; baby brother, Harold; and aunts, Tee and Del. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Anne (nee Vanke); sister, Mary Blanc; nephews, Todd Boudreaux, Tim Strauss, Chris Strauss, Scott Vanke, Scott Armitage; nieces, Carla Brubaker, Cathy Chasteen, Kati McCullough, Theresa Burk, and Kim Hetland; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, numerous family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis de Sales Church, 4019 Manchester Rd. on Friday, at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Francis de Sales Parish in memory of Gerald.
