Letha I. (Tenney) Hinkle, 88, passed away on April 10, 2017. She was born August 14, 1928 in Upshur County, West Virginia to the late Albert and Stella (Glass) Tenney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Smith, the father of her children; second husband, Elmer Hinkle; brothers and their spouses, Kiser (Norma) Tenney, Elles (Bertha) Tenney, and Victor (Delorse) Tenney; sisters and their spouses, Fleta (Boone) Hull, Bethene (Hugh) Hull, and Margie (David) Reese.
Letha is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Victoria Smith (Kerry Bruce), Angela (David) Hare, and Deborah DeMiglio; grandchildren, Andrew (Colleen) DeMiglio and Sarah DeMiglio; great-granddaughter, Charlotte DeMiglio; step-daughters, Lorinda Hoover and Tracy Bunger; step-grandson, Austin Bell; numerous nieces and nephews.
Letha had been a resident of Barberton, Ohio from 1950 until 2016 and retired from the Babcock & Wilcox Company in 1992 with 25 years of service. She was a member of Lockwood United Methodist Church.
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Lockwood United Methodist Church, 3680 Manchester Rd. on Saturday, at 11 a.m., Pastor Dale Gharky officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in Letha’s memory to Lockwood United Methodist Church.
