Obituary

Kay Burgoon, 64, went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2021. She was born October 4, 1956 in Barberton, Ohio to George and Jean Burgoon. Kay called Grace Church in Norton her home. She loved cats, making cookies for others, playing board games, and vacationing at the beach.

Kay was preceded in death by her father, George Burgoon. She is survived by her mother, Jean Burgoon; sister, Rebecca Burgoon, and brother, Lawrence (Denise) Burgoon; niece, Kathryn (Yoshua) Israel; and nephew, Kenneth (Charmaine) Burgoon.

Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 5 to 7 p.m. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Manchester Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, PO Box 49104 Baltimore, MD 21297 in memory of Kay Burgoon.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the wearing of face masks and social distancing must be practiced.
