Stan Katanic, 88, unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2020. He was born February 6, 1932 in Vajska, Yugoslavia.
Stan was the proud owner of Katanic Carpentry helping many people improve and update their homes. Stan was a devoted husband, father, and a faithful member of the Apostolic Christian Church for many years. He loved his Lord and Savior and was imprisoned for his faith in Jesus Christ. Stan was a kind man and was also a hard worker. He loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.
Stan was preceded in death by his daughter, Mira. He is survived by his wife, Kata; sons, Mike (Esther), Sam (Diane), Paul (Alyssa), Stephen (Veronika); daughters, Denise (Rick) Mrdjanov, Slavica Stojanovic, Lela Pentsa; brother, Sloba (Mirjana) Katanic; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at the Copley Cemetery on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11 a.m., Michael Mrdjanov officiating. All are welcome to attend.
